The breakfast hits the mark, especially the pancakes with real Canadian maple syrup, a delightful treat. The clean rooms feature blackout blinds that aid in solid sleep, while controllable heating keeps the atmosphere cozy.
Shower pressure left something to be desired—not exactly a super soaker for after a long day of outdoor activities. Some creaky floorboards upstairs caused minor disturbances before heading out for meals. The ceiling light felt overly bright, and there was an annoying toilet lid that wouldn’t stay up. Blankets may not be heavy enough for the colder seasons, which could leave some guests feeling chilly.

Just a nice choice for spending night in Aviemore with extraordinarily good value for money. We really enjoyed the live bagpiper performance outside while dining. it gave a nice local touch. Be prepared for limited parking availability, especially during peak times.

Family with children highly recommend it
Had an very nice stay with the family! The breakfast, wow, I had the scotch salmon and scrambled eggs- superb! The room was clean and spacious enough for all of us, and they let us check in a bit early which was a nice touch. The staff were always around, helping with anything we needed, and that cozy lounge was perfect for family chats away from the busyness outside.
Sure, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but acceptable for what we got.

My family room was clean and had good amenities. The blackout blinds were great for a good night's sleep, and the controllable heating kept us cozy. A really nice shower room made it even better. The small lounge area added a nice touch too, perfect for unwinding. The only thing was that it could use a bit more space to move around, especially with luggage.

Just had a delightful two-night stay in a Twin Room, where the hearty breakfast menu was a standout, especially the Scottish fare. The only downside was the shower pressure, which could be a bit better. Would definitely choose this place again!

this place is amazin! loved the location, and the house has so much charm. super clean, and the breakfast was perfect for our group of hikers. mark, the host, was really friendly and helpful, whether by email or in person. it felt like we were at a friends' house. definitely coming back!
the shower could use more pressure—it ain't a super soaker. also, heard some creaking from upstairs at night, but it wasn't too bad.
